By downloading, installing, or using the PilotBrief mobile application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

PilotBrief is a mobile application that allows pilots to share and access notes, briefings, and information about European airports. The App provides a platform for the aviation community to exchange operational information.

3. User Accounts

  • You must create an account to use certain features of the App
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
  • You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account
  • You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account
  • You must be at least 13 years old to use the App

4. User Content

4.1 Your Content

You retain ownership of any content you post, upload, or share through the App ("User Content"). By posting User Content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, and display your User Content in connection with the App.

4.2 Content Guidelines

You agree not to post, upload, or share content that:

  • Is illegal, harmful, or violates any applicable laws or regulations
  • Contains false, misleading, or inaccurate information
  • Infringes on the rights of others, including intellectual property rights
  • Contains offensive, abusive, or discriminatory language
  • Contains personal information of others without their consent
  • Could compromise aviation safety or security

4.3 Content Responsibility

You are solely responsible for the accuracy and legality of your User Content. We do not verify or endorse any User Content. Information shared through the App is provided "as is" and should not be the sole basis for flight planning or operational decisions.

5. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

  • Use the App for any illegal purpose or in violation of any laws
  • Impersonate any person or entity or falsely state your affiliation with any person or entity
  • Interfere with or disrupt the App or servers connected to the App
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App or related systems
  • Use automated systems to access the App without permission
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App

6. Aviation Safety Disclaimer

IMPORTANT: The information provided through PilotBrief is for informational purposes only and should not be used as the sole source for flight planning or operational decisions. Always verify information through official sources such as:

  • Official NOTAMs (Notices to Airmen)
  • Official airport authorities
  • Aviation regulatory bodies
  • Official weather services

We are not responsible for any decisions made based on information obtained through the App. Use the App at your own risk.

7. Intellectual Property

The App and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by us and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES RESULTING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising out of or relating to your use of the App, your User Content, or your violation of these Terms.

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the App immediately, without prior notice, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the App will cease immediately.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new Terms on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the App after such changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Turkey, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
